Harambe

In Swahili, “harambe” is a special word that means “let us all pull together.” It is a chant of community and fellowship, shouted during group efforts like putting out a fire, carrying heavy and cumbersome loads, and community aid and improvement.

African Art Exchange

Harambe African Art Exchange is a group of five artists, all hailing from Uganda, who came together to share the heart and soul of Africa through their art, while also providing financial aid to people and communities who are fighting to improve their living conditions.

One of our goals is growth. We hope to become a creative hub for artists in other countries in Africa. We can come together to share the richness of our many cultures and bring economic power to our communities. HARAMBE!
